They all need the benefits that come from increasing or preserving lean muscle mass and decreasing excess bodyfat. Regardless the endeavor, their performance levels will increase with relatively more lean muscle mass and their risk of injury will decrease as well. Our muscles act as shock absorbers preventing severe injuries to our joints, knees, elbows, backs, occurring more often in athletes and individual with lower levels of lean muscle mass. Most everyone is familiar with carb loading, the process of eating large amounts of carbs the day or night before an athletic contest to store carbs for an upcoming contest. Are you aware that you can’t protein load and failure to take in protein prior to, during, or after an extended contest or workout leads to your body eating the lean muscle mass your trying to create and can further increase your risk of injury and lower your long term performance as well. For those that may not work out, or are working out to cut fat or to control their weight and appearance taking in adequate amounts of protein is equally important. Repeated insulin spikes lowers the body’s metabolism leading to excess bodyfat and long term health consequences. Keeping your bloodstream supplied with nitrogen reduces insulin spikes reelevating your body’s metabolism burning excess fat and increasing lean muscle mass. Our body converts protein to nitrogen, so therefore consuming adequate amounts of protein every 3 to 4 hours during the day along with other macro and micro nutrients is critical. The amounts you need vary depending on your age, gender, your lean muscle mass, and excess body fat, your exercise level, or the sport you engage in. At Max Muscle North Phoenix we specialize in determining the appropriate amount of micro, and macro nutrients your body requires and can turn that into a customized state of the art nutrition plan for you as well. Simply purchasing something that claims to burn fat or add lean muscle mass, or claims to increase energy levels seldom works long term for most individuals. Additionally most other products in the nutrition industry aren’t made to the high standard that Max Muscle products are and won’t be as effective in nourishing your body to help you reach your goals. Also it does little good to do one or two protein shakes if you really need 3 or 4 a day. It does little good to take 5 grams of glutamine, or 5 grams of branch chain amino acids a day if you need 3 to 4 times that. It also does little good to take a multivitamin that has 100 mcgs, of vitamin C when you need 800 mcgs, or because of the way the multivitamin is manufactured you’ll only absorb 50% of the amount stated on the label. It’s much more productive to determine how much you need and then purchase supplements that actually provide the amounts you need. This is the type of experience we promise at our store. I own and work in the store along with my wife Chris. We all practice what we preach, and are certified in sports nutrition. For your personalized nutritional plan please click here.
